Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in a while but I have A GOOD REASON!!
I had a little accident this past Wednesday that I would rather not go into details about on the blog. (I don't really want the whole world to be able to read about it.) BUT... if this is family reading this, and you feel like you need to know all the details, then you can talk to my mom or dad because they both know what actually happened.
SO ... this 'thing' that happened caused me to have to take my first ride in an ambulance and get my first ever stitches! Yep, that's right I had to get stitches. I got them in my upper right arm, seven total. NOT FUN!
That, my friends, is why I have not been able to write a blog the past few days. I have not known how to even go about telling you all. Hence, I came up with the above solution. But now this puts a damper on all of the fun Guam stuff that I have been doing or planning on doing for the next few weeks. Stuff like hiking and snorkeling and basically anything where I have to move my arm too much or get wet. I am not able to go swimming because I can't get the stitches wet. So Matthew and I are trying to figure out what there is to do on Guam that is 'stitches friendly' :)
Today Matthew went snorkeling and I did some tanning and reading on the beach. I have to work on getting this sports bra tan line taken care of because I wore my sports bra and tank top when we were power washing the house last weekend. That was a lot more fun that I thought it would be. Power Washing is fun when you have someone to take over when the vibration gets to be too much! lol. Now the house and the walkways look much better. More curb appeal in a neighborhood where all the houses look the same!
I have also been trying this week to get all the information filled out and completed for getting a substitute teaching job with DODEA (Dept of defense education admin). I want to get into the schools as a sub and see what they are like before I decide if I want to teach there. But man oh man are these applications tedious! I have had to get so much stuff filled out it is crazy. But I guess that is to be expected with a government organization. Background checks and all. Hopefully they will accept me!
So to end this post I just have to tell you all that I AM FINE and THERE IS NO NEED TO WORRY about me. I will get my stitches out next Friday and will heal up just fine. I still plan on getting out there and doing everything that Guam has to offer, it is just gonna take a little longer to get there. :)
